Alpine fry

Ingredients - for 4 persons

  • 1kg potatoes
  • 250g Abondance cheese
  • 250g smoked lardons
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Pepper, oil
  • ¼ litre of Savoie dry white wine

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the onion and brown in a little oil.
  2. Add the cubed potatoes and the lardons. Fry for 15 minutes.
  3. Then add the Savoie dry white wine and Abondance cut into slices.
  4. Add pepper and leave to simmer for 10 minutes on a low heat.
  5. Check whether the potatoes are cooked and leave them in for longer if necessary.

To be enjoyed with a salad and a Savoie wine.
