Tomme de Savoie bake

Ingredients - for 6 persons

  • 1.5kg potatoes
  • 15ml chicken stock
  • 100g butter
  • 200g Tomme de Savoie cheese
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • Salt & pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.
  2. Grease an ovenproof dish, and alternate layering the sliced potatoes and the slices of Tomme de Savoie. Season and continue until all the ingredients have been used up.
  3. Finish off the bake by placing the remaining slices of Tomme de Savoie on top. Cover with the stock, and leave to infuse for 15 minutes.
  4. Spread the nobs of butter over it and bake in a moderately hot oven.
